Service Station Attendant services automobiles with gasoline, oil, and water. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Service Station Attendant is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Service Station Attendant performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Job Summary:
The Gas Attendant provides customer service at a full-service gas station.Duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities
- Keep shop area clean and be able to account for all company owned tools at all times.
- Maintain a high degree of courtesy and customer service
- Operating a cash register
- Collect payment from customers
- Assist customers with fuel pump machine
- Assist customers with tire, oil and fluid checks
- Assist customer in cleaning windows
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Must be able to work and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
