Service Contract Administrator prepares, reviews, administers, and tracks service contract proposals and renewals. Explains service terms to customers and answers questions about contracts. Being a Service Contract Administrator secures necessary approvals and ensures that the standard contract terms are followed. Escalates issues involving customer claims about service to management. Additionally, Service Contract Administrator may participate in review of customer issues and may recommend modifications to the services or terms. May assist with contract negotiations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Service Contract Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Summary:

    Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contract for products, services, and suppliers. Contribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performance. Review and analyze contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities. Determine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessments. Manage entire lease process from origination to final execution ensuring all required documents are received, filed, and executed. Maintain all lease administration systems and prepare all lease agreements and related contractual documents ensuring are in compliance with policies and procedures. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to ensure appropriate language is used to achieve final lease documents. Lead projects and mentor less experienced staff. Research and respond to internal or external inquiries.


    Responsibilities:

    • Will manage new incoming requests.
    • Facilitate requirements meeting with requestor.
    • Will work together with third-party vendors and legal team.

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
    • Experience with managing, negotiating and writing contracts.
    • Have a legal background.
    • Previous experience in a regulated industry.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
