Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bussing, sales, and guest services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
