Job Title: Cyber Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with cyber experience to join our Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) team. As a key member of our IT support group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting a diverse range of legacy and current IT systems. Your responsibilities will span across various areas, including desktop support, security audits, and user account management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide desk-side support for standalone Windows systems, spanning from XP to Windows 11.
• Assist with NIPR (Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network), SIPR (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network), and SAP (Special Access Programs) support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot lab instrument connections with IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships.
• Conduct security audits as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
• Utilize cyber and audit experience to enhance security practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (no waiting for clearance processing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
