Security Specialist administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources. Being a Security Specialist coordinates any required security clearance processing or investigative research for employees or job candidates with applicable entities. Assists with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Additionally, Security Specialist monitors communications and stays informed about local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Security Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Security Specialist typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

As a Security Sales Support Specialist, you will provide sales support, sales administrative assistance and project support to the sales associates within the assigned strategic accounts.Essential Functions:- Provide telephone and email support to Strategic Account customers under guidance of Client Executive and/or Account Executive.
- Secure orders, arrange delivery dates, monitor installation dates, and order closure.
- Provide project management support to sales initiatives within account.
- Participate in developing and implementing marketing action plans.
- Provide assistance in the development of customer presentations and proposals that ensure professionalism and results.
- Maintain contacts with customers in relation to their requirements.
- Ensure that customers are knowledgeable of Securitas Electronic Security policies relative to sales, systems support and service.
- Follow up on each sale and the resulting installation of hardware and software products.
- Ensure that outstanding receivables are minimized through planning and coordination with company finance associates and the customer.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns as effectively and quickly as possible.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate sales forecasts, call reports and sales activity reports for submission to the Client Executive on a timely basis.
- Report proposal/prospect status through the Client Executive.
- Implement and continually review the proper flow of contracts to company headquarters to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all contractual relationships with customers for both hardware and systems products.
- Maintain high level of communication with functional groups within the Strategic Accounts division as well as with Service/Installation and Finance to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:- Prefer college graduate with BS/BA in business or marketing related area. Consideration given to relevant prior work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills are a must.
- Thorough understanding of Excel
- Thorough understanding of PowerPoint
- Thorough understanding of Outlook
