WEEKEND SHIFT POSITION, FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY
Job Summary & Essential Functions
Assist in the supervision, coordination, facilitation, and leadership of employees directly or through Coordinators. Outline work procedures and assign duties to meet departmental and Company requirements. Act as a liaison between shifts.
- Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of the supervisor and or Manager
- Provide daily leadership and direction to employees on assigned shift
- Train, advise and counsel employees on work processes and procedures as well as company policies
- Regulate work flow to ensure maximum use of capacity and efficiency within department
- Ensure project and assignments remain consistent with company practices, policies, and regulations (for example: OSHA, Management System Standards)
- Interact and support all internal and external customers and set standards that promote good relations and communication
- Research and troubleshoot problems and corrective actions to allow continuous improvement
- Promote the concept of individual responsibility for quality work and workmanship standards
- Track, monitor and report departmental performance objectives/results to Supervisor
- Participate in periodic audits to ensure compliance to company standards
- Participate in recruiting, selection and development of operations personnel through maintaining discipline, personnel relations, and interviewing screened applicants. Provide input for hiring, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments and promotion
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
- Perform job responsibilities per employee’s technical background and charge time to meet utilization targets

Required Experience & Education
- High school diploma or GED; machine trade or technical school experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant job experience in applicable production area
- Previous electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing experience
