Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Security, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm and Intrusion installation projects from start to finish. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of projects
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site documents
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
- Communicate project status updates and address any issues or concerns that arise
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Experience:
-MUST HAVE Fire Alarm License, Alarm Installer License, Electric Access Control License
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the security alarm industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including blueprint reading, construction estimating, and project coordination
- Proficiency in project management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members
- Solid understanding of contracts and legal requirements related to projects
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
