Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Responsibilities:
The North Central Region has an exciting career opportunity for a District Manager in Eugene, Oregon to support on-site guarding operations in the greater area (Eugene, Medford, Corvallis, Albany, Salem, Linn and Lane County). Regular travel within the district is expected. This position is ideal for candidates who are willing and able to be physically present daily at the assigned branch office and district client sites. This position is also ideal for candidates who can directly develop high caliber internal teams, apply notable client service approaches, use computer technology systems to perform administrative responsibilities such as scheduling and data analysis, and otherwise effectively manage and develop multi-site branch operations to drive profitability.
Compensation:
This full-time W-2 position provides a starting annual salary of $76,681.00, an $800 monthly car allowance, eligibility to participate in an annual incentive program, comprehensive benefits for both self and qualifying dependents, 401K with company matching, employee discounts, internal and external developmental opportunities, and more. Paid time off is also provided based on annual accrual and includes 15 vacations days, 4 floating holidays, and 6 sick days.
