Security Guard - Unarmed jobs in Hattiesburg, MS
Security Guard - Unarmed provides security and guards buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other venues. Monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Being a Security Guard - Unarmed patrols an assigned location. Follows required gate-keeping procedures such as verifying visitor credentials, conducting inspections, or preparing paperwork. Additionally, Security Guard - Unarmed may operate an access control or identity system to control building access. Completes shift activity logs and inputs to systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Unarmed works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. What you will do
§
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Your background:
§
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have a solid/stable work history
- Drug Testing and Background screening required
- Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS
- State Security License or ability to obtain one - No worries if not, we can help you! Reliable transportation
