Responsibilities:

• Maintain entrance and exit logs for authorized persons.
• Inspect bags and packages entering the premises.
• Operate metal detectors as necessary.
• Conduct periodic patrols, checking for fire hazards and mechanical alarm system malfunctions.
• Report security violations to the facility manager.
• Maintain a daily duty log documenting all activities and incidents.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid guard license.
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of security/law enforcement experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact courteously with the public.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to follow printed rules and directions.
• Good general health, able to stand/walk for entire shifts, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and run/climb stairs.
• Current First Aid Card.
• Clean criminal record; no probation or history of domestic violence.
• Must be mentally and physically alert at all times.
• Willingness to undergo company screening process, including drug test and background investigation.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
