- Administers First Aid treatment to sick or injured persons as well as working as member of the Security department in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
- Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board mandated requirements, which include but are not limited to, gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, reissuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
- Respond to instructions from Security Podium or Fire Command regarding medical emergencies.
- Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher.
- Remove or assist in removal of victims from scene of accident or catastrophe.
- Determine nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of catastrophe, to establish First Aid procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance, basing decisions on statement of persons involved, examination of victims, and knowledge of emergency medical practice.
- Administer prescribed First Aid treatment at site of emergency, performing such activities as application of splints, administration of oxygen, treatment of minor wounds or abrasions, or administration of artificial resuscitation.
- Communicate with arriving medical personal regarding further treatment and assist with the removal of victims.
- Assist arriving medical personal to obtain and record information related to victims' vital statistics and circumstances of emergency.
- Maintain medical and communications equipment and replenish First Aid equipment and supplies.
- Assist in controlling crowds, protecting valuables, or performing other duties at scene of catastrophe.
- Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies while performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Patrol, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned Security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety, and security of our guests.
- Examine various points of entry to determine that they are secure.
- Conduct inspections, in accordance with procedures, to ensure equipment and facilities are in a safe condition.
- Watch for and conduct timely reporting of irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked to the appropriate authority.
- Guard against theft of company property.
- Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.
- Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic to maintain orderly flow as directed.
- With care and professionalism, ensure compliance of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course’s responsibility to prevent over-consumption of alcoholic beverages.

- Must have Pennsylvania Certification from Department of Health (PA State EMT Certification required).
- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Must have valid driver's license.
