    JOB DESCRIPTION:



    Responsible for the safety and protection and patrons, employees and casino property; promotes superior customer relations and safe, friendly environment. Responsible to respond to calls of service and/or emergencies.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES PERFORMED: This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.     • Observes and reports all incidents, procedure violations, safety hazards and criminal activities as they arise to uphold the integrity of the casino.
    • Ensure guest satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
    • Maintains company, team member and guest confidentiality on all activity.
    • Learn, comprehend and comply with departmental policies and procedures, casino policy, internal controls and Tribal State Compact and to help ensure compliance with same.
    • Safeguards property assets.
    • Must attend and successfully complete mandatory training: Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, CPR/First Aid, AED, etc.
    • Maintain visibility while on duty to minimize the opportunity for loss or damage.
    • Resolves any guest complaints or concerns, or directs them to the proper supervisor for resolution.
    • Have computer and report writing skills for incident reporting.
    • Be accountable to regulatory documents.
    • Good public relations skills, professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Must have excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
    • Builds relationships inside and outside of their department / team to improve ways of working and provide a great guest experience.
    • Models for the team, a strong work ethic and is visible, available and present for the guest and their team.
    • Makes judgment calls based on understanding Legends Casinos’ Purpose, Values and Objectives while utilizing research, knowledge, and experience.
    • Proactively shares guest feedback with executive management and peers in the spirit of continuous improvement.
    • Finds ways to make good use of their strengths and talents.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:



    SUPERVISION EXCERCISED: None.


    LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class III gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.


    MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: One (1) year experience required in one of the following areas: security, law enforcement, military, emergency response or two years of guest service. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. Valid Washington State Driver’s License required. High School Diploma or GED required.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods to time; ability to lift or move (50) lbs. or more. Ability to work any shift, work nights, weekends, holidays and events as required.
