Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Guard. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a critical role that requires strong surveillance skills, knowledge of CPR and first aid, and the ability to handle conflicts effectively. Duties: - Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to detect suspicious activity - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities - Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks - Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid security guard license/certificate - Proven experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or related field is preferred - Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment - Ability to perform CPR and first aid if required - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively We offer competitive pay rates based on experience and qualifications.
