Security Guard - Armed jobs in Orange, CA

We are seeking exceptional Security Guards to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

This is a long-term full-time position in the Orange County area.

It is predominantly a static post dealing with access control and site security.

An end date is not set on these contracts but we will inform the hired guard(s) as soon as that information becomes available.

This position requires a BSIS Guard Card AND an Exposed Weapons Permit. Please have copies of these available upon request.

CPR/AED certification is desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keeping the site, materials, staff and patrons safe.
• Monitor premises as a visual deterrent to theft, violence, and/or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Enforce premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes to Chain of Command
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing and completing tasks in an organized, efficient and effective manner.
• Safeguarding and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information of LSI Executive Protection and Intelligence Services, the site and staff.
• Safeguarding individuals and property from all forms of security and safety hazards.
• Responding to alarms/fire/panic calls immediately and promptly securing the safety and security of human life and physical property.
• Strictly adhering to SOPs designated to static & mobile teams.
• Writing reports: including daily activity & other supplemental reports.
• Conducting thorough investigations and preparing written documentation regarding non-routine incidents with incident reports, pictures and witness statements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time uniformed security experience
• Law Enforcement, Military and/or National Guard experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• BSIS Guard Card – Required for all positions
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit – Required for Armed Positions
• CPR certification and the ability to obtain additional licenses/certifications as needed
• Advanced medical training is preferred
