Security Guard - Armed provides security and guards buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other venues. Monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Being a Security Guard - Armed patrols an assigned location. Follows required gate-keeping procedures such as verifying visitor credentials, conducting inspections, or preparing paperwork. Additionally, Security Guard - Armed may operate an access control or identity system to control building access. Completes shift activity logs and inputs to systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically requires Firearms Certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Armed works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Your primary duties will include protecting individuals and property, conducting surveillance, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement or the military, possess relevant certifications, and have strong conflict management skills. This position is paying $18.29/hr.Shift:
Monday- Friday: Day shift/ Evening shift
Must have Law enforcement/Military experience
```Responsibilities```
- Protect individuals and property by maintaining a visible presence
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity
- Perform access control duties by verifying identification and authorizing entry
- Respond to emergencies such as alarms or disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in law enforcement or the military is preferred
- Must possess a valid armed guard certificate/license
- Proficient in conflict management techniques
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
