DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Maintain facility, customer and employee security and safety during assigned shift. Escort all
money transfers throughout the Casino, and escorts armored car personnel while at thefacility.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Patrol Casino gaming floor, hallways, exterior of the Casino and parking areas to ensure safety of all resources, facilities, customers and employees, and to ensure compliance with Casino policies, State and Local Laws.
2. Provide traffic control as necessary to ensure the safe flow of traffic and parking.
3. Conduct surveillance of Casino patrons, employees and property in an effort to identify and deter criminal or unusual activity.
4. Escort patrons between parking lot and Casino as necessary or requested.
5. Coordinate investigations or emergency activities with local law enforcement, Tribal Police and other emergency service providers.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
ü High School Diploma / G.E D. but not required
EXPERIENCE:
ü One year experience in Law Enforcement or Security preferred
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY/SKILLS:
ü Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
ü Knowledge of proper security procedures in a public relations/customer service atmosphere.
ü Knowledge of State and Local laws applicable to the Casino.
ü Knowledge of Computers and computer software
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
ü Must be 18 at time of hire.
ü All employees must successfully pass a background investigation to be employed by the
Casino.
ü Responsible for Compliance with the Casino’s Internal Control Policy & Procedure as it relates to the position’s stated job description.
