The EVS Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering, storing, receiving, distribution of EVS supplies and equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, fast, friendly, and fun environment for all guests, team members and company assets.  The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive ‘can do’ attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests to Live! Casino · Hotel.

Responsibilities

Where You Will Make An Impact:

• Responsible for distributing supplies and equipment to EVS team members for their assignments.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory on Casino Floor and Back of House locations for EVS.
• Maintain Par Level, communicating Leadership of ordering needs.
• Receiving and verifying the order.
• Ensuring incoming and current staffing have the equipment with  the supplies that they need.
• Maintain and create logbooks.
• Update and assign tasks through the Hotsos system. Utilizing radio to communicate with EVS Team Members.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to type at least 40wpm.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Must possess simple mathematical and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret instructions and directions for guests.
• Ability to communicate without impediment with guests and staff in all areas relating to guest service.
• Ability to communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy regarding events and information.
• Able to communicate using a two-way radio with earpiece.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Must Haves:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year prior or equivalent experience required. Prior hotel/casino experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Pushing/Pull up to 50lbs.
• Carry up to 25lbs.
• Infrequent Bending / kneeling
• Infrequent Walking
• Infrequent Standing
• Frequent Sitting Able to communicate using a two-way radio with earpiece.
• Able to reach with arms.
• Able to ascend/descend stairs for at least 7 ½ hours per shift.
• Able to work in a loud work environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency
