employees as directed. Responds promptly to requests for emergency or security
assistance. Consistently and diplomatically maintains good public relations
with casino guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and
safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety
procedures, which includes use of safety equipment. Incumbents are
responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or
conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe
conditions, as directed.
Follows established security protocols to ensure casino work environments are
safe. Receives technical direction and guidance from Security/Lead.
Investigates incidents by asking questions, taking and analyzing
statements, secures and reports evidence, as directed and, makes an
accurate record of all investigations.
Incumbents may provide emergency First Aid and/or CPR, only when properly
trained and certified, and only when needed to provide for the safety of
casino guests and employees.
Escorts transfer of money/assets throughout the casino when required,
assist by lifting or carrying money/assets for fills or cage transfers to
designated locations.
Patrols casino parking lots, as directed, including customer vehicles,
shuttles and charter buses to ensure the safety and security of guests and
employees and for compliance with casino security policies and procedures.
Monitors casino for potential problems occurring with excessive alcohol
consumption and/or unacceptable behavior, and acts to remedy situations.
Assists other departments as needed.
Reports violations to casino security policies and procedures, as directed.
Maintains alertness for performance of all responsibilities, and prior to
taking action, exercises caution and evaluates circumstances for appropriate
security or safety response. Keeps supervisor informed of any concerns.
Verifies customers are 21 years of age and stamps hand.
Responds to and controls emergency situations, and acts to minimize risk to
casino guests and employees.
Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming
Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and
procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
Compensation - $16.50/hr depending on experience for days; $17.50/hr depending on experience for graveyard
