    The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the casino environment is safe and secure for patrons and employees of the casino.

    Duties include: 
    • Completing reports, inspects buildings and equipment while securing all access points. 
    • Prevents losses and damages by reporting irregularities while maintaining the stability and integrity of our Security department. 
    • Communicates with internal departments as needed and promotes good employee relations by conducting themselves in a professional manner. 
    • Provides superior guest services to guests of our casino. 
    • Performs additional job related duties as assigned by the department manager. 
    Starting wage is $21.84/hr, increasing to $22.36/hr upon successful completion of 90-day orientation period.

    Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
    Experience & Requirements:
    • Prior security experience is required.
    • Able to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures.
    • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
    • Basic report-writing skills required.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be in excellent physical condition.
    • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
    • Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis.
    • Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
    • Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
    • Upon offer must obtain Class IIIA Gaming License ($273 - 335).
    • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays.
