This position is responsible for patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and protection of guests, team members, and company assets.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS (other duties may be assigned):

• Provide protection to ensure the security, safety, and well-being of employees and guests on the property.
• Safeguard company assets.
• Perform duties in a manner that is professional, respectful, and confidential to employees and property guests.
• Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
• Adhere to and comply with all policies, procedures, internal controls, and Gaming regulations.
• Assist with investigating incidents; question witnesses/victims when needed and report findings to the Security Supervisor.
• Provide escorts for transactions and procedures, including money, cards, dice, and sensitive keys.
• Drive guests and employees to local various destinations.
• Assists DCI agents when requested to do so.
• Ensure proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed.
• Attend all company-required training.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Meet company attendance requirements.
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.
• Secure premises by patrolling the property
• Report irregularities
• Provide excellent customer service
• Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and guests.
• Be able to drive company vehicles. To drive company vehicles, the employee must have a valid driver's license free of reckless driving for five (5) years.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

•  Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
•  Valid Driver's License preferred.
