Security Coordinator jobs in Kennewick, WA

AgriNorthwest is seeking a vigilant and self-motivated Security Coordinator to join our local farm team! The Security Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and execution of a complete security plan for all company farms in the Columbia Basin and functions as a lead to all security matters on farm.

• Guarantee the security of the farm, the assets, and employees.

• Perform building and inventory security checks.

• Ascertain suspicious activities to prevent vandalism, thefts and any other criminal behavior.

• Design effective plans and generate ideas to improve security around the farm.

• Help with repairs and maintenance of fencing, signage and entryways into farm property and facilities.

• Become an expert on local laws including trespass and property law.

• Coordinate with local law enforcement, vendors, leasers, and outside parties on proper access control on all properties and facilities.

• On-call (24/7) availability during busy seasons to ensure farm is secure and safe.

• Champion a world class safety culture by becoming familiar with all safety devices and emergency shutdown systems including lockout-tag out procedures, as well as understanding MSDS sheets, pesticide labels and application notification procedures.

• Attend and actively participate in regular safety meetings and trainings.

• 3 years recent experience in a security or similar position. Previous crew management/supervisory experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license, First Aid, and CPR card.

• Strong demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

• Farming background helpful.

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role which includes heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stepping up/down, and long-term walking, as well as work outside in year-round weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.

· Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, per business needs.
