Position Overview
Network & Security Administrator provides installation, configuration, and operational use of network security devices including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network traffic analyzers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance across the organization. This includes staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and monitoring systems for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity. This role requires experience in NIST compliance frameworks, including CMMC, as well as experience with tools like Nessus Vulnerability Scanner and SIEM tools.

Essential Functions
Network Infrastructure/Security:
Design, configure, and maintain the company's local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
- Maintain anti-virus, security on servers, workstations, and other devices.
- Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Monitor network traffic and activity to identify and respond to potential security threats.
Information Security:
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard company data and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans using tools like Nessus Vulnerability Scanner.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to implement security awareness and training programs.
Cybersecurity Compliance:
- Ensure the company's cybersecurity practices comply with relevant NIST compliance frameworks, including CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification).
- Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any cybersecurity-related legal matters.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of related work experience
- Experience in networking, security, and cybersecurity compliance, with experience in NIST compliance frameworks, including CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification).
- Experience with Nessus Vulnerability Scanner and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, ELK Stack).
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools.
- Certification Cisco CCNA, CISSP, CompTIA Security or Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client Preferred.
