    Priority Wire & Cable has an immediate need for a Senior Network Security Administrator to work in Little Rock, AR. The position will have broad responsibilities for security engineering, security operations, and security risk/impact prevention through policy management, monitoring, audits, staff training, and response (troubleshooting, research, and configuration) . The Senior Network Security Administrator will ensure perimeter security, network security, endpoint security, application security, and data security are setup and configured to protect the organization against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. The candidate must have self-initiative, be able to work independently, and be detail-oriented with strong technical and information security skills.
    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of network and systems administration, 4 years of broad hands-on cyber security experience in a medium/large organization, and 5 years of experience in a direct corporate IT support environment. Experience in creating security policies and training employees to be security conscious.
    *Duties & Responsibilities:*
    Some of your duties may include:
    · Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network, endpoint, and application security solutions.
    · Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
    · Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats, and developing/testing disaster recovery plans.
    · Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.
    · Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
    · Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
    · Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
    · Configuring and supporting security tools, such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS, EDR, and anti-virus software.
    · Training staff to understand and use security protocols.
    *Demonstrated skills in:*
    · Implementing and administering network security hardware, software, and cloud solutions
    · Implementing and managing firewalls and network/endpoint intrusion systems
    · Implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate LAN, WLAN, and WAN architecture and configuration
    · Management and configuration of an email security solution
    · Security focused experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Single-Sign On, Multi-Factor Authentication
    · Management of a SIEM (AlienVault USM)
    · Conducting vulnerability testing and risk analyses to assess security and performing internal and external security audits.
    · Participating in security systems testing and remediation of identified vulnerabilities
    · Research security trends, new methods, and techniques used to preemptively eliminate the possibility of a system breach.
    · Administration experience in heterogeneous environment (Windows, Mac, and Linux)
    · Monitoring systems security and responding to security incidents.
    · Writing medium and complex scripts in Bash shell, PowerShell, and/or Python or other automation tools
    · System administration of assigned security systems and applications
    · Troubleshooting of workstations, server, switches, and routers.
    · Ability to diagnose server and network system problems quickly and develop effective solutions
    · Able to work independently with general supervision, manage effectively own daily schedule, and prioritize activities with stakeholders’ expectations in mind.
    · Participate in an on-call schedule and be available 24/7, as needed.

    · Mid-level or expert-level technical or security certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
