Secondary Market Manager helps develop, manage, and improve a company's secondary mortgage market operations. Leads a team of analysts to ensure timely and accurate work and provides research and solutions to complex questions or tasks. Being a Secondary Market Manager oversees the company's loan purchases and sales on the secondary market and manages mortgage loan portfolios to balance risk. Reviews performance indicators and utilizes economic data and market trends to determine risk. Additionally, Secondary Market Manager maintains relationships with investors, brokers, and originators to identify and develop new leads and opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Secondary Market Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Secondary Market Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.       PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

      Supervise and participate in the daily preparation and serving of good quality food. Supervise the security, storage, and proper handling of food and supplies. Enforce and maintain standards of cleanliness, health, employee practices, and safety in the cafeteria. Oversee production and serving of meals, assists in the preparation of the main entrees and baked goods. Assume responsibility for assuring that all equipment in the cafeteria is safe, clean and in good working condition. Comply with and make accommodations for students with special diet restrictions.

      Determine necessary quantities for food and supplies, branded products, and submit orders on time. Plan daily work schedules and instruct cafeteria employees in performing their assigned tasks. Oversee employee time cards, payroll and other personnel records, as requested.

      Evaluate performance of cafeteria employees, as needed.

      Serve as the on-site Food and Nutrition resource for the principal, faculty members, parents and students. Positively represents the Department and District. Flexibility in working with faculty members and students. Available to work or coordinate special events for community groups, PTA, and/or district staff. Confer with the Food Service Manager/Supervisor regarding any personnel problems and implement suggested ways to resolve/manage. Maintain open, positive communication with all people served by the food service department.

      Participate in meetings, in-services, and training, including computer training as requested. Process and complete all necessary paperwork or reports. Maintain accurate records and submit requested reports to the central office. Available to work flexible hours, other duties as may be assigned. Regular attendance.

      CLASSIFICATION:
      Food service Group E $17.90 per hour
      Hours: 8.0 hours
      Schedule: 6:00 am and 2:00 pm
      Nine (9) months
      All district benefits in accordance with work agreement

      PREPARATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
      Must possess positive leadership traits.
      Serve as a positive team leader, maintain a positive attitude.
      Ability to manage and lead a team of 15-17 people.
      Serve as a mentor for new employees.
      Capacity to develop and utilize oral and written channels of communication.
      Use successful problem-solving skills.
      Strong knowledge of school food service programs, nutritional standards, and sanitation.
      Accurate and detail oriented in processing paperwork.
      Possess strong communication skills, customer service .
      Basic computer skills required.
      Demonstrates professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
      High school diploma or equivalent.
      Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as carts and food preparation equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus while preparing food.
