Job Overview:
The Business Analyst gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable plans to improve processes and desired results. In addition, the Business Analyst will assist the center store team with day-to-day duties and responsibilities including reporting and analytics, merchandising support, pricing, and basic item maintenance for all Greer’s stores. This person exhibits a proactive approach and maintains a positive perspective to assigned duties with the highest level of customer service.

First-year objectives:
-Complete basic onboarding.
-Spend time working with store managers, district managers, and management teams to learn team structure. TBD by VP of Operations
-Spend time in stores learning the basics of retail. TBD by VP of Operations
-Shadow the grocery team to learn the basic and advanced daily functions and store support activities leading to high-level customer service.
-Work with the Center Store team to learn HQ, Analyzer, IPro, and other computer-based tools.
-Work with the Center Store team to learn P&L management (sales and gross profits).
-Work with the Director of Grocery Merchandising to review current reporting and ideas for the development of additional reports.
-Work with the Director of Grocery Merchandising to learn the critical functions of merchandising, pricing, promotions, and product and the impacts on sales and gross profits.
-Work with the Center Store team to learn about vendor/supplier management for both AWG and all other DSD vendors.
-Will be invited to attend meetings and conference calls to learn about current initiatives, ongoing projects, and new initiatives as they are developed.
