We are seeking an individual that can work a 7:30am to 5pm (with flexibility) schedule Monday through Friday and have the on-call ability to respond to occasional emergency calls which primarily result from water loss and flooding. Afterhours on-call status is on a rotating basis and includes bonus pay!

This position includes water removal, demolition of damaged property, as well as equipment setup and project monitoring. You will be working in a team environment but must poses the capability of working independently time to time.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and review work orders or job orders every morning.
• Ensures vehicle is properly stocked with the proper supplies and equipment needed for the day.
• Finding and stopping the water source.
• Water extraction.
• Setting up drying & dehumidifier equipment.
• Moving items (personal property) to prevent further damage.
• Demolition – Removal and disposal of wet/damaged building materials.
• Oversee multiple job locations.
• Conversing with onsite manager with jobs and scheduling.
• Assisting with morning team huddle and department communications.
• Collection of required documentation (example: photographs, moisture meter readings, etc.).

Experience and Skills:

• Experience in carpet cleaning, mitigation, or restoration work preferred but not necessary. Willing to train the right person.
• Experience working from a work van or truck a plus.
• Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Desire to "own the situation."
  
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Physical Demands:

• Lift (constantly) 5-20 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-60 lbs.
• May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
• Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
• Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.

Pay:

• $20 – $24, DOE, 90-day review. Increased hourly wage (hazard pay) based off job type (example: trauma, mold, on-call, etc.).  PPE provided.

Schedule:

• 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm (may slightly vary depending on travel distance)
• Rotating on-call schedule (for afterhours emergencies, which includes weekends)
• Occasional over-nights (hotel room paid, per diem offered)

Age Requirement:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Education:

• High school or equivalent

License/Certification:

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Reliable transportation to get to/from work
