Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

·         Sew drapes, curtains, sheers and window treatments

·         Sew table and bed skirts

·          

Secondary Responsibilities:

·         Sew specialty items as requested

·          

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

·         8:00am-4:30pm, some weekends, overtime, and holidays required

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

·         Previous commercial sewing experience dealing with draperies, home furnishings or related field required  

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

·         High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

·          

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

·         Must be able to understand directions both written and orally.

·         Must be able to communicate both written and orally.

Technical Requirements:    

·         Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge of how to take measurements, cut material by measurements and patterns

·         Knowledge of how a sewing machine works

·         Successful completion of the Talent Plus structured interview
