Scrum Master, Sr. coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Required Skills & Experience- Agile (Scrum & SAFe)
- Scrum Master Professional
- Agile Frameworks - Scrum, JIRA, Blueprint So
- Scrum Master Certification
- 5 years of Scrum or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Virtual facilitation for large groups of people.
- Strong analysis skills to analyze product structure, team compliance, agile transformation progress, impediment themes, end to end delivery in a complex environment.
- Ability to coach team level up to senior leadership level.
- Strong leadership skills to guide the product and to guide scrum masters supporting the product.
What You Will Be Doing- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum or Agile.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Scrum Master challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
