Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master who has experience working in Card Servicing area of a bank or credit card company. Someone familiar with tasks related to the management of credit or debit cards. These tasks can include processing transactions, managing customer accounts, handling disputes, issuing new cards, fraud, and customer service for card related inquiries.
As a Scrum Master, you will apply Scrum principles to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery. If you're a strong communicator, a capable leader, and passionate about Agile frameworks, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:- Manage each project's scope and timeline.
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
- Act as the point of contact for external communications (e.g., customers or stakeholders).
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during development.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Guide development teams toward higher scrum maturity.
