We are currently hiring a Scrum Master for our Financial Planning & Analysis Product. The preferred location for this position is our Beachwood, OH corporate office, but Moon Township, PA and Galesburg, MI would also be considered.


    As Scrum Master, you will oversee and manage multiple product and software development teams as a servant leader. You will help ensure that teams follow and understand Agile practices and Scrum framework values, instill a culture of continuous learning and process improvement, and drive adoption of Agile mindset and scaling within the enterprise.


    In this position, you will enable and drive team self-facilitation and self-accountability. You will support the teams' ability to eliminate impediments and help the team grow into a self-organizing team. You will work directly with Product Owners, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, help create user stories, manage the product backlog, assist with value-based prioritization and improved focus.


    What you’ll do:

    Job responsibilities:

    • Accountable for all Agile ceremonies of a Scrum team including planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, while supporting teams' ability to self-organize and self-facilitate
    • Drive a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
    • Trains, mentors, and supports Scrum teams and others within the enterprise to follow and deeply understand Agile values, principles, and practices
    • Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
    • Assists the Product Owner with roadmapping, epic creation, and decomposition and multi-sprint planning
    • Support the estimation and prioritization of user stories
    • Collect, track, and report Agile metrics on performance and progress
    • Drive a culture of learning and continuous improvement
    • Support the teams' ability to drive resolution of impediments and escalate where required
    • Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and management of dependencies including participation in Scrum of Scrums or related ceremonies where applicable
    • Ensures a psychologically safe and environment for the team to raise and resolve issues
    • Leads the capacity planning for each sprint
    • Communicates risks, status and general updates to stakeholders
    • Manage one or more Scrum teams across multiple geographies
    • Improve the Agile maturity of the team on a continuous basis
    • Support the Product Owner in cost tracking for scrum projects
    • Manages project budget, estimates, approval submissions, capitalization and reporting
    • Support Resource Managers with Vendor Management and contractor onboarding

    Qualifications:

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience working on an Agile team or leading technology projects.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager.
    • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of one of the locations listed to be considered.


    Preferred requirements:

    • Scrum Master certification preferred.
    • Understanding of Finance domain. FP&A exposure is an added advantage.
    • Experience implementing Oracle EPM (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS) across mid to large scale organization.

    Skills:

    • Experience leading highly complex projects, programs, and teams
    • Experience leading change across a large, multinational enterprise
    • Expertise working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban, and how to practice Agile at scale
    • Expertise with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts
    • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
    • Experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile
    • Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Interact effectively with senior leadership
    • Ability to lead enterprise-wide programs
    • Excellent listening skills with the intention of understanding
    • Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams


    The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year.
