Location: Chattanooga, TN where you will be required to work from the office 3 days a week and remotely the other 2 days.

Scrum Master

At FLX Systems, the Scrum Master plays a key role in assuring that our development work and support services are on track, on time and on budget. This requires a strong and confident personality that is comfortable communicating and reinforcing weekly goals and objectives to the development team and working closely with internal and external clients to access any necessary assets for the project. This role provides the opportunity to become very engaged in the development and operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate morning stand up meeting and bi-weekly sprint planning meetings.
• Using project SOWs, you will work closely with FLX’s Solution Architects to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers.
• Coordinate Grooming Sessions and capture data that will be relevant in establishing project efforts and timelines.
• Setup project tasks, milestones, budgeted hours, and forecasted timeline in Jira
• Establish project road maps and track progress/velocity to assure sprint goals are being met and projects are on-time.
• Monitor project data to assure accurate monthly reporting .
• Work with internal and external clients to access necessary assets and information to eliminate potential roadblocks and to assure peak productivity.
• Coordinate the QA process to assure development efforts are production ready.

Requirements

• Professional college graduate with 3 plus years of Scrum Master experience.
• Must be proficient in Jira
• Technically savvy with a clear understanding of IT terminology and processes
• Must be energetic, well-spoken, outgoing and organized.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of running focused and detail oriented meetings
• Comfortable working with tight timelines and fast-paced environment

Compensation Package

The compensation will be a salary well suited for the role and will vary based on the candidate’s level of experience. FLX’s benefits package include Healthcare, Vision, Dental, FSA, 401K, and three weeks of PTO.
