Scrum Master coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. SUMMARY
Scrum Master is responsible for leading matrix managed teams through the initiation to implementation of projected related to data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide project leadership of large, high-value application development, data integration and analytics projects to achiece key objectives
- Directing cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams
- Understanding business needs and leading people through the process of project/program definition and scoping
- Ensuring program/project governance process are properly established and followed
- Managing the financial impact / budget for program / projects
- Ensuring that risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated and that projects are delivered successfully
- Leading multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating across multiple project teams
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
6 years of experience as Program/ Project Manager
3 years of experience leading projects while using Agile SCRUM, Waterfall, Inerative development
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
COMPUTER SKILLSProficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
