Salary: $40.28-$60.43 DOE

SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES

1. Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
2. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
3. Inspect completed installations for conformance to code and safety standards.
4. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
5. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
6. Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
7. Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
8. Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
9. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
10. Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
11. Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed on electrical systems or components.
12. Respond to emergency calls to restore power to the casino during power outages.
13. Maintain Title 31 compliance accurately.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

PREREQUISITES

General: Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Must be North Dakota State Electrical Board certified.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician.

Physical: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, grasping, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
