We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master with at least 5 years of experience to join our client’s agile teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to ensure full team engagement. You will handle blocking issues and provide quick resolutions to support agile teams' progress and efficiency.  This role is a hybrid role, requiring three (3) days per week in the office in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and planning meetings to ensure transparency, coordination, and continuous improvement.
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur. Help teams implement changes effectively.
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
• Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master for at least 5 years.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Benefits

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000 annually based on candidate's qualifications, certifications, and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; three weeks accrued PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
