Scientist - Biotech develop and conduct basic and applied research projects. Utilize advanced technologies to study biological, molecular and chemical processes. Being a Scientist - Biotech synthesize and analyze DNA, proteins and other molecules to develop new drugs, medical protocols, and products. Prepare technical papers and reports on findings. Additionally, Scientist - Biotech requires a PhD in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Scientist - Biotech typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering field.
    • Demonstrated passion for scientific inquiry and tenacity.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Shift flexibility depending upon business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Graduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering subject area.
    • Hands on experience with Surface Analysis techniques – including (but not limited to) X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray Reflectivity (XRR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Auger Electron Spectroscopy AES), Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), Electrical Characterization, Physical/Mechanical Characterization, Thermal Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and Electron Backscatter Diffraction Spectroscopy (EBSD).
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Data Science, Statistics, and Project Management.
