Primary Job Function:
The Reynoldsburg City Schools’ nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating school health services. The school nurse facilitates positive student responses to normal development; promotes health and safety, including a healthy environment; intervenes with actual and potential health problems; provides case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity. In order to provide quality care and manage legal risks, school nurses should know the various national and state laws and standards that apply to their practice. School nurses also must know their role and function within the Reynoldsburg City School District and follow the school district’s policies and procedures.
