Responsible for scheduling both surgical procedures and Anesthesia provider coverage for Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. This includes interaction with surgeons and their office staff and anesthesiologists entry of the data into the computer system production and distribution of surgery schedule block scheduling maintanence and surgical scheduling system maintainence. 

3-5 years of recent OR scheduling in acute hospital setting.

Experience in scheduling anesthesiology providers.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excel ORM Meditech or simular OR scheduling System and MSM Knowledge of Medical Terminology and surgical specialties.

Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette

Excellent typing skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Contributes to a team approach
