Position Summary:

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of construction/engineering department projects supporting Project Managers and Project Engineers. Analyzes contractual commitments, client specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Assess schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding and work breakdown structure.

Perform schedule impact analysis for modifications. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. Conducts planning and coordination meetings as required to support planning and monitoring functions.

Responsible for company resource planning. Gathers and analyzes information to prepare reports on the progress of projects and ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Produces reports as required to support project needs, ensuring schedule-coding structure supports management reporting requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a self-motivated individual, possess excellent communications skills and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software.
• Must have knowledge of the Critical Path Method.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or Architecture degree or equivalent experience a plus.
