Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     • Job Summary
      • The CoxHealth Network finance team is responsible for various functions and support related to all CoxHealth entity provider reimbursement process evaluation, financial reporting and analysis. The reimbursement analyst must have a working knowledge of managed care, governmental and other third party payer reimbursement and payment terms. This position serves as primary back-up to Contract Finance Director, completing complex contract modeling and analysis.  They must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and trouble-shoot inefficiencies and issues, research and make recommendations for improvement, facilitate changes, and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, contract fee schedule analysis, construction of reimbursement scenarios, compiling and maintaining financial data used in third party payer agreements, contract modeling, contract review and all CoxHealth Network accounts payable and accounts receivable

      • Education
        • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare, or a related field or 8 years related experience
      • Experience
        • Preferred: Demonstrated experience with healthcare or insurance financial analysis.

        • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively present and interact with all levels of the organization 
        • Ability to work collaboratively as either a facilitator or participant on projects that involve multiple stakeholders, while promoting positive and effective working relations
        • Ability to inform and educate others, including training of new staff, on procedures and concepts
        • Ability to write effective summary level documentation for clear and concise communication of data analyzed
        • Ability to create, implement and optimize stakeholder reporting
        • Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office Highly proficient in Excel with ability to create, modify and trouble-shoot spreadsheets for data analytics.

          Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze complex data and all type of provider reimbursement.
        • Highly productive in a self-directed manner with ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, track status efficiently, and demonstrate defensible judgement in making independent decisions
