  • Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: Milacron is looking for a Director, Aftermarket Sales to join our team in Batavia, OH, or remotely if located in continental US near a major airport. As a Director, Aftermarket Sales, you will be responsible for the management and development of sales engineers across the United States. You will develop comprehensive sales plans by region, monitor, and proactively adjust sales strategies to ensure profitable growth for Milacron’s Aftermarket business. You will seek to drive new organic and inorganic sales to current customers, as well as expand the penetration of new customers with Milacron’s complete portfolio of Aftermarket solutions. Work You’ll Do: Create a safe, compliant, and energizing work environment Lead by example; demonstrate a growth mindset & servant leadership of the Aftermarket Sales team Develop comprehensive strategic sales plans, effectively communicate, and execute relentlessly Strong financial and leadership acumen to run gap analysis and communicate to executive leaders Assist and methodically resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner Effectively communicate company philosophies and set challenging goals for team Manage the performance of sales regions, including training, sales plan development, scheduling, coordinating and working with inter-departmental groups to the satisfaction of the customer Recruitment, development/training, & succession planning for the sales team Develop proposals and secure purchase orders to achieve financial plans Professional interaction with customers, internally and externally Team: As a complete lifecycle partner, our goal at Milacron is to continually find ways to maximize machine uptime, improve efficiency and help keep our customers’ operations moving. You’ll do this by leading a team of approx. 10 Field Sales Engineers across the United States, and partnering with Inside Sales and Field Service teams to satisfy the needs of our customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with engineering or business focus, MBA preferred 8 years of proven background in sales team management within highly technical, industrial markets supporting capital equipment maintenance and sales Strong customer-facing selling skills, technical quotation development, and contract negotiation skills required Demonstrated networking ability and influencing skills Outstanding leadership skills, team building and business acumen Experience in Profit and Loss leadership Experience developing and implementing performance metrics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Windows operating systems, MS Office, Salesforce (SFDC), and PowerBI tools Extensive technical knowledge with capital or heavy equipment, plastics and/or plastics machine experience is a plus Proven track record of managing employees completing technical-focused work in a remote setting, as well as the ability to leverage digital tools to increase efficiency Ability to work in multiple projects in a specialty product environment Proficient at reading Mechanical / CAD drawings #LI-AP1 #LI-HYBRID Who we are: Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
