Sales Training Manager manages a team of trainers that create and deliver sales training programs that support an effective and motivated sales force. Partners with senior sales managers to assess training needs and develop programs focused on product knowledge and effective sales techniques and that will enable the sales team to maximize revenue potential. Being a Sales Training Manager monitors and analyzes sales team performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training and design follow up or ongoing programs as needed. Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Training Manager to provide training creation, training management, and training data collection and analysis supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). Nakupuna Consulting is extending contingent offers for this effort in anticipation of contract award, which is expected in May of 2024. The Training Manager will develop the curriculum in coordination with other trainers on the AMP program and ensure the training is effective and beneficial for all employees across the numerous Agile teams. The Training Manager will assist in staffing trainers and will establish and oversee the Training community of practice. The Training Manager will maintain open communication with the Program Manager and the Army client by providing reports and attending meetings. The Training Manager should serve as a positive mentor for junior trainers as well as other AMP employees, coaching team members as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 6 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.
Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in Oracle, SAFe for Teams, IT Cert MS-MCT, and CompTIA CTT preferred.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia region.
