Sales Support Representative, Sr. jobs in Richmond, KY

This position is responsible for fulfilling customer and warehouse needs to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will work very closely with the Sales Force and other departments to meet & exceed customer expectations. A large degree of discretionary decision making, creativity and self motivation is required and the ability to work independently under minor supervision. The Sales Service Representative will be assigned specific customer accounts and will be expected to manage the following aspects of those accounts within prescribed guidelines under the direction of the Customer Service Manager.

Handling of the Order Entry Process (60 % of the time)

1. Responsible for the accurate and timely entry, editing and monitoring through completion of sales orders, along with setting the order due date and communicating delivery back to the customer.

2. Responsible for accurately & completely estimating new items and follows set ISO departmental procedures - requires working closely with Sales, Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Design.

3. Revises cost estimates and suggests new pricing as costs, designs or manufacturing processes change.

4. Sets Inventory Levels based on usage history, customer commitment, warehouse space, lead time & other prescribed inventory guidelines.

5. Monitors existing warehouse levels on all warehouse items to identify increases / decreases in customer demand, working closely with shipping and inventory departments.

6. Responsible for entering warehouse replenishment orders in accordance with set warehouse levels.

7. Responsible for comprehending and maintaining correct pricing, index levels and contribution percentages.

8. Must maintain and create Quote Folders and Master Spec folders for each item processed .

9. Must maintain and keep files up to date for pricing issues, vendor issues, routing changes and spec changes.

10. Work with Purchasing to select vendors to provide cost effective product to meet customer requirements.

11. Works on special projects as directed by Customer Service manager.

Provides Sales Support (20 % of the time)

1. Responds to customer , sales and management inquiries in a timely and accurate basis.

2. Prepares quotes, correspondence and reports as required.

3. Provides product information to internal and external customers as needed.

4. Provide Sales Manager with information needed for pricing guidelines.

5. Work with Sales, Quality and Customer on all RMA'S as needed.

Responds to Customer Needs (20 % of the time)

1. Resolves customer issues daily in a fast paced work environment.

2. Continuously improves customer service and sales support activities

3. Works with customers and manufacturing on customer owned items

4. Comprehends and maintain pricing on all items to ensure proper invoicing

5. Works with accounts receivable on all pricing and invoicing problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
