We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Specialist - Sales & Cash to join our growing team. The Revenue Specialist will report to and work closely with the Sr. Manager of Accounting Operations and others in the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the Company's revenues within its financial statements.  

This role is a hybrid role.  The selected candidate must be able to come to the office in Irvine, CA on in office days and as needed to carry out necessary functions of the role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Responsible for reconciling and recording daily sales from the Company’s point of sales and online sales platform into the Company’s Accounting system for all stores.
• Work closely with the Operations team and Store management to reconcile differences between reported vs. collected revenue and tips.
• Responsible for recording all of the stores daily cash receipts and reconciling the cash receipts back to the bank statements. 
• Dedicated to continuously improving the automation and efficiency of the revenue and cash receipts cycles by identifying areas of improvement.
• Assist external auditors with quarterly reviews and annual audit with questions as it relates to revenue and cash receipts.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
• Participate in various department-wide initiatives.
• Ad-hoc projects as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working in a revenue, sales & cash or bookkeeping function, preferably in a restauraunt, retail or transactions based business.
• Previous experience working in a  restaurant environment helpful.
• High School graduate, college experience a plus.

• 3 years of prior experience working within an accounting department, with restaurant industry experience preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills required.
• Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a plus.
• Experience in working with accounting software packages, such as Microsoft Great Plains.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.

PAY RANGE: $24.00 - $27.00/hr. DOE.
