Sales Support Manager jobs in California
Sales Support Manager manages the daily operations of the sales support function. Oversees the resource allocation and workflow of all support activities including order processing, RFP response, data collection, and the preparation of reports to support sales teams. Being a Sales Support Manager identifies and resolves operational issues. Implements promotional events to increase sales volume. Additionally, Sales Support Manager may resolve complex customer requests or complaints. May manage the processing of sales incentive or commission programs. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Sales Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sales Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Mission Manager seeks an experienced independent Field Sales Representative to drive sales of its Mission Manager cloud-based software platform.
The position will be based in and serve as Mission Manager’s business development and sales resource throughout the Southeastern United States (FL, GA, AL, MS)(respectively, the “Territory”).
Credentials and Experience
- Minimum five years of direct selling and business development experience in software, first responder, or government funded related industries, showing a demonstrable track record of business-building results in new product introductions and market vertical/segment development
- First responder or emergency management experience, including service as a volunteer or reserve officer with mission leadership experience in law enforcement, fire-fighting, search and rescue, disaster management or EOC operations is extremely helpful.

Compensation
Mission Manager offers a performance based compensation package which includes competitive commission, expense reimbursement, and equity participation plans.
