Sales Support Director jobs in Anderson, SC

Sales Support Director establishes the sales support process, develops an infrastructure of systems and tools, and directs support operations. Ensures that sales teams receive the tools and resources needed for smooth operations. Being a Sales Support Director monitors all sales activities to identify problems, create solutions, and produce accurate reporting. Develops and implements promotional events to increase sales volume. Additionally, Sales Support Director may provide oversight of sales incentive or commission programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Sales Support Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Support Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Director of Sales is a professional sales manager who provides direction to the sales team in order to achieve sales goals/quotas as identified with the Senior Leadership Team.  In partnership with operational and clinical leaders, develops program & departmental goals, strategies and implementations, and monitors and assesses results.

    1) This is a hands-on, focused sales leadership role2) Director of Sales will spend the majority of their time out in the fielda. Marketing to high level referral sourcesb. Mentor, Trainer, Coachc. Ride-along with their team: Hospice Sales Representatives

  • Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and accountability by coaching, developing, and retaining a high performing sales team
    • In field a 4-days a week minimally
    • Solution-oriented problem solver who focuses on overcoming objections internally and externally
    • Demonstrate consistency in achieving lead, admit and census goals by monitoring and assessing the progress and development of each Sales Team Member
    • Prompt attention and action to any gap in performance to budgeted expectations and barriers related to these gaps
    • Build high performing Sales Team by recruiting and hiring top sales talent.
    • Compile, communicate, and execute best practices in the field.
    • Help develop new ideas, protocols, and efficiencies for maximizing marketing resources to grow market share.
    • Develop a collaborative partnership with the Operation and Clinical Leadership team.
    • Create and support a shared vision for growth between Sales and Operations.
    • Proactively implements all company initiatives.
    • Brings real solutions to all challenging situations.
    • Drives growth and achieves goals, by employing an array of strategic selling techniques and strategies.
    • Ensure Sales Team engages in practices and behaviors demonstrating full compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws.
    • Develops, presents, and utilizes sales reports, which are designed to support the organization in the attainment of sales goals. 
    • Any other tasks that are assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Qualified candidates must have prior sales/marketing experience.
    • Proven two to five year’s sales management experience in a health care environment leading and directing an outside sales team
    • Hospice, Home Health or Senior Living / LTC-SNF experience is a plus, but not required for outstanding proven performers
