POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly-motivated Territory Manager/Outside Sales Representative for the Charleston, SC region. Our ideal candidate will have experience in fluid power sales and will add new business to the territory while growing and nurturing existing accounts.
This dynamic position requires an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or fluid power experience is preferred. We’re pursuing applicants who are growth-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital.
Essential functions:
· Creatively identify new business prospects as well as areas for growth in existing accounts
· Frequent and consistent calls on potential new clients and existing business to develop and grow sales
· Complete a business plan template that enables us to track and lay out a path to win new business while maintaining base accounts
· Become a product expert—suggest, specify and build systems and possess the ability to
demonstrate products and explain their features and benefits
· Maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction and become your client’s “go-to” for all their fluid power needs
· Oversee delivery and installation of client systems to maximize efficiencies and satisfaction
· Stay up-to-date on new products and technologies
· Travel up to 25%
Qualifications:
· High mechanical aptitude and a problem-solver mentality
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or fluid power experience
· A proven sales closer who isn’t afraid to ask for the sale
· The ability to successfully communicate product functionality and merits
· A self-starter who can work with a team or independently and is focused on personal and professional growth
