  • We are seeking an accomplished Director of Sales Training to provide strategic direction, insights, and long-term perspective in the realm of sales training at Azurity Pharmaceuticals. As the key member of our executive team, you will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for shaping the development of cutting-edge sales training programs that leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and digital learning platforms to elevate the performance of our sales force. Your role is pivotal in guiding the future of our sales training and fostering effective communication with stakeholders and the public.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide long-term strategic direction and insights to the Sales Training department, shaping a culture of continuous learning, development, and innovation.
    • Formulate a visionary sales training strategy that firmly establishes ACE as the foundation of our business model, seamlessly incorporating machine learning, predictive analytics, and digital learning to drive sustained sales excellence with a focus on long-term growth.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of advanced sales training programs that empower our sales representatives with exceptional skills and knowledge.
    • Provide strategic guidance on continuous evolution of sales training programs, incorporating insights from industry, market trends, and cutting-edge capabilities to ensure the program remains up-to-date and maximally effective.
    • Offer thought leadership on performance measurement for sales training programs, establishing well-considered and robust quality measurement and management frameworks.
    • Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the public to ensure alignment and understanding of our sales training initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather input and insights that shape the future of sales training.
    • Strategically assess and allocate resources for training initiatives, including identifying appropriate training formats, determining training areas requiring investment, and allocating budget effectively among teams and formats to maximize the impact of sales training programs

    Qualifications:

    To excel in this high-level role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

    • An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
    • A proven track record of 10 years in leadership and innovation, with substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
    • Extensive global experience within the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with comprehensive sales training, to effectively lead and drive sales growth in a complex market.
    • A deep understanding and mastery of integrating advanced technologies such as machine learning, digital learning, and predictive analytics into transformative training strategies.
    • A comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders and the public to advance the organization's goals.
    • Proficiency in utilizing learning management systems (LMS), data analytics tools, and other relevant technologies.
    • Strategic thinking, superior problem-solving capabilities, and a track record of effective decision-making.
    • The ability to excel within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and provide long-term direction and insights to sales training initiatives.
    • This position is hybrid in one of our locations in the US and 25% of travel is expected for this role.
