Being a Sales Rep., Sr. (Bio-Medical Equip. & Supplies) responsibilities include developing new prospects, establishing customers, and selling an organization's products and/or services. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent with greater than 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Sales Rep., Sr. (Bio-Medical Equip. & Supplies) is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Responsibilities
The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of C/S trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and patient charge card batching. Able to move throughout facility. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be knowledgeable of patient supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Medical Terminology desirable.
- Minimum 6 months acute patient care facility preferred.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, comprehend and communicate effectively in writing.
- Skills to maintain active communications with surgical staff.
- Central Supply Certified preferred.
- At least 2 years experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
