Sales Promotions Coordinator jobs in Minnesota
Sales Promotions Coordinator administers sales promotion campaigns that promote products and support the marketing and branding strategy of the organization. Assists in researching, evaluating and recommending tactics that enhance the market positioning of the organization's products or services. Being a Sales Promotions Coordinator works to create and convey brand messages to improve brand awareness and perception. Helps identify and evaluate promotional merchandise suppliers with the best pricing, products, and delivery options. Additionally, Sales Promotions Coordinator plans and coordinates distribution of materials with internal teams. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sales Promotions Coordinator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. SUMMARY: Coordinate, set-up and execute promotions and special events.
- Coordinate, set-up and execute promotions and special events on and off property
- Coordinate with operational departments in the development of programs and special events, including advertising support
- Interact with guests and staff during promotions, drawings and events
- Track, monitor and report on winners, prize distribution and guest counts
- Organize and complete inventory of marketing storage areas
- Assist vendors with outside sponsorships, co-ops and other promotions
- Drive attendants to off-site events
IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows
- High level organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to manage projects in a timely and efficient manner
Preferred:
- One (1) year Marketing experience
