Sales Promotion Manager manages, develops, and implements sales promotion policies, programs, and initiatives to support the marketing and branding strategy of the organization. Researches, evaluates, and recommends tactics that enhance the market positioning of the organization's products or services. Being a Sales Promotion Manager creates and conveys brand messages to improve brand awareness and perception. Identifies promotional merchandise suppliers and negotiates pricing and delivery schedules. Additionally, Sales Promotion Manager coordinates distribution of materials with internal teams. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager. The Sales Promotion Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sales Promotion Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Area Sales Manager – Phoenix

    Overview of the Role

    We hire the best people who are passionate in supporting our mission, Caring for Lives.  The ideal candidate is someone who can successfully manage a long sales cycle and understands the selling environment within the Operating Room while leveraging business opportunities that support business growth. 

    Who You’ll Work With

    You will report to the Regional Sales Director while working closely with other Area Sales Managers, Clinical Account Managers, and the Vice President of Sales.

    Major Accountabilities:

    • Analyze the local market, develop sales strategies, and effectively execute plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and profit & growth objectives.
    • Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing customer base and work on a strategy to close those opportunities.
    • Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts. Develop clinical relationships that engage physicians and medical staff in support of product evaluations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accurately forecast sales revenues and unit volumes for rolling 30-60-90 day forecasts.
    • Conduct sales product presentations and in-service training to nursing personnel and medical staff.
    • Competently demonstrate value propositions of product offerings to stakeholders.
    • Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of on-site meetings or contact by phone/email.
    • Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.
    • Records customer information in the CRM and monitors for accuracy and opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or a related field.
    • Medical Device sales experience with the ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing is required.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Medical Device sales position is required. 
    • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.
